When it comes to building bigger traps, there are a select few exercises that are necessary to develop mass in the traps. These exercises are extremely important, as they will be hitting portions of the traps that most guys neglect when it comes to their trap training. This neglect of these important areas is often the result of poorly and underdeveloped traps.
The following 5 exercises in this list will not only target your upper traps (the portion of muscle between your neck and shoulders), but also your middle and lower traps too (this is the area most guys tend to neglect). The exercises we’ll be performing will do a great job of targeting this often-missed area of the muscle. This will be achieved by retracting our scapula as much as possible to engage the middle and lower traps.
These Trap Exercises Will Include:
Barbell Upright Rows
Dumbbell Upright Rows
Implementing the above exercises and ensuring a proper stimulation of your middle and lower traps, through the retraction of your scapula, will allow your traps to grow much more fully, and as a result grow much faster.
