The 5 second rule is an incredibly powerful mental hack that will help you finally beat the overwhelming power of procrastination and excuses that prevent you from committing to the process required to improve your physique. Whether that be consistently executing your workouts, sticking to your nutritional goals, or crushing other areas of your personal, work or business life.
The “5 second rule” was officially coined by the author Mel Robbins from her book “The 5-Second Rule”, and is actually a technique that I’ve personally used to maintain consistency with my workouts for years. Although, I’ve never personally called it the 5 second rule. In effort to consistently execute my workouts, I’ve always relied on the habit of “action without thought” to immediately act on my workouts; before the power of my lazy mind interfered and came up with excuses and reasons to do something else. The power of this “mental hack” is unbelievable, and can have you totally transforming your physique, 1 consistent workout at a time. 5,4,3,2,1, GO!
